ON BOTH SIDES

Are you guys kidding me?
Of course it was a fiasco. Romney's trip was a mess. Not that he leaked national security secrets to the press to look good as the incumbent allegedly does; however, having his staff plan a fund raising on a Friday evening in Israel, of all places, Alienating Cameron, of all people, with some clumsy remarks about failures in the organization of the Olympic Games were really too much for any objective human being to look the other way. If this gentleman is seeking to lead the most powerful nation on earth he has some crash course to do and, while he's at it, he should learn to hold his tongue. We already have the VP to do the loose talk and there's no need for help on that front.

To make matters worse, the presumptive nominee stubbornly refuses to disclose several years of tax returns; not that he's forced by law to do it, but why not simply get this out of the way and leave "Dirty Harry" or "Reid my lips" helpless in his senile conspiracy theories?. The left hates the rich, but loves money. You can ask Jesse Jackson, Charlie Rangel, and Andy Young.

Mr. Trump, probably a lousy politician, but one heck of a negotiator, proposed a deal this morning and, honestly, I find it irresistibly tempting: Why don't we the people ask both Romney and the president to make a disclosure: the governor should make his tax records public while Mr. Obama should lift that heavy seal on his college records, his passport applications and all related issues.

Both sides are an affront upon we the people, so a little transparency couldn't hurt.
