BOTH SIDES ARE LOW

A new "scandal" for a change; now the extreme right has again fallen in the trap of its own rhetoric and wastes precious time trying to embarrass the administration instead of focusing on wining the election; why should one try to harm the opponent when one can simply beat him fair and square?, or is it that they've given up hope and try to harm Team Obama as seriously as possible?

On the other hand, the White House and its left loony followers seem to be in self damaging mode. I continue to believe that events like the slaying of our ambassador to Libya could have happened under anyone's watch; although Bush had only a few months in office it is also true that his team could and should have connected the dots leading to 9/11; so as far as the attack on our consulate is concerned I see no serious evidence of out right negligence on the part of the administration and its security team other than the usual bureaucratic slowness that characterizes the government machine in any free nation. The president and his aides, however, should have waited before rushing to label this as an over reaction of some hot headed Muslims fueled by a silly movie; they knew almost since day one the nature and objective of this heinous crime, and instead of coming clean and even exploiting, if you will, the fact to rally the people around them, they kept stubbornly feeding us the "spontaneous" riot gone violent spill. They knew, the Libyans knew, and we all knew.

The right unscrupulously spins the death of four brave Americans to score useless points in an election that seems to be lost, while the left refuses to acknowledge how shamelessly this government lies to us, the people who hired them to do a job and pays handsomely for their bulgy expense accounts, their lavish traveling, their quasi inside trading perks, and all the ill gotten privileges that come with a position they have once and again shown not to deserve.
