The president coined the term "Romneysia" to name Romney's alleged flip flop and move towards the center, and he may have a point. The challenger was forced to embrace his party's hard line current in order to win the nomination, now he has to shift his position and tone down his rhetoric to win the undecided. But the incumbent also promised everything to everybody in order to win the last election an has proved to lack leadership and bargaining ability. Romney could coin the phrase: "ideological Barricade" to define Mr. Obama's performance and poor negotiating performance.
Then we have former president Clinton coming to the rescue; former arch enemies are now best pals and the comeback kid is throwing the fullness of his political weight behind the messiah. In a master show of histrionics and political talent, number 42 mesmerizes audiences all over the country trying to give his candidate an edge in a very close race. This is a man for whom I would vote if he decided to run again; he is probably the most popular politician in the land; and yet, he accuses Romney of lying to the American people and portraying himself as someone he is not. With all due respect dear president Clinton: you could teach all of us a whole bunch of things; however, honesty and truthfulness are not part of them, you feign to support and respect a man you deeply loath, you dutifully root for someone that couldn't be farther from your views and I wouldn't call that honesty; while all in fair in politics and you're free to play the loyal soldier; please don't push it Bill; you told us you hadn't had sex with that woman when you actually had; wasn't that the biggest lie of the 90s?
